“Every year staff and students at UCC set themselves high standards for results at GCSE and every year they seem to be able to match these expectations. I am happy with these outcomes, coming at a time when nationally the picture is far from stable. What really matters, of course, are the results for individual students and, once again, the outcomes here are very good with the vast majority of students gaining the necessary qualifications to make their next step in their education.
Our curriculum offers a very broad range of courses, some of them recognised in national results tables, some not. These results are proof of the hard work of students and the dedication of all of my teaching staff.
Following on from last week’s pleasing A-level results, this has been a most successful year for UCC students.”
Mr Ellery, Headteacher
“I am delighted for the students and proud of their achievements across the range of qualifications that they have sat this summer.
This is the culmination of so many hours spent in lessons, revision sessions and additional preparation and I would like to congratulate students and thank staff and parents for all of the support that they have given throughout the secondary years”. Mr Cooper, Head of Year 11
