Everyone from the BBC to the government is interested in the family. People want to sell the family things and take control of it. They want our taxes and to constantly monitor what we are doing. We also study the media and its influence on our everyday lives; it's much greater than you might think.
In the Sixth Form, you can study A-level Sociology. This course is accepted at some of the best universities in the world. Through the in-depth study of sociological theories and methods, combined with studies of education, the family, media and crime and deviance you will really begin to understand how society works!
