AQA Specifications)with a look at the family and why it is so important in all our lives. The family is the basic unit of society. It is the source of some of the best and possibly the worst times in our lives. Everyone from the BBC to the government is interested in the family. People want to sell the family things and take control of it. They want our taxes and to constantly monitor what we are doing. We also study the media and its influence on our everyday lives; it's much greater than you might think.
