Sunday (Written By Harry and Van (7SQ and 8SCT).
We had a good breakfast of cereal, yoghurt, bread with Nutella, hot chocolate and orange juice. Then, we got on the coach and went to catch the ferry across the water. After a short journey, we arrived in Torcello, a small island, where there is an ancient place of worship. Inside this church, there were olf tombs made of marble and gold. There was also a special marble chair which, if you sit on it, legend has it that will be married within the year. After visiting the church, we took the ferry across to Burano, a larger island with canals, and only boats have access to get around. There was also a leaning tower, colourful buildings and lovely ice cream!
Later that afternoon, we came back to Lido di Jesolo to have lunch. Then, we went to the beach where we played volleyball, paddled in the sea and dug a massive hole in the sand.
This evening, after dinner, we went out into the town to buy more ice cream and strolled down the main street back to our hotel.
Tomorrow, we visit the heart of Venice, which we think will be awesome.
