Meeting for the first time this week, Year 12 Council hold a unique place in the school. The members meet with a Sixth Form focus every month, but in addition to this they also help lead the councils of the other year groups in the school. The leadership opportunity this provides adds weight to any CV or UCAS personal statement they may write in the future. Good luck to the Council!
As you may be aware, we have been reviewing the safety and security of the school, as have many schools across the country in recent years. Last week we sent a full letter home detailing the implications for UCC and the developments taking place. You can view the full letter here.
There is now a Student Finance Guide online with information on how to apply for Student Finance for university. You don’t need to have replied to UCAS to confirm your choice of degree course before you start your Student Finance application. It is better to apply to Student Finance as soon as possible. If you have any questions at all, please see the Sixth Form team. You can open the Guide here.
