Along side connections with local business, work experience and trips to other countries we have many business and enterprise projects based within the college. One of our most recent activities was the whole-college Eco Cube Day:
ECO CUBE DAY
An Eco Cube event, aimed at making our students think about the natural environment was held all around the campus in July. Students learned about both the environmental and health benefits of cycling from the Britain’s got talent BMX bike team who impressed all the students with their amazing stunt demonstrations.
Musicians Bang On, who appeared on the radio one road show, wowed the crowds with their inspirational sounds from their recycled instruments while the award-winning Fairly Famous Family from the Edinburgh Fringe Festival entertained the students with their unique recycling theatre show. The students and staff also attended a spectacular recycled fashion show where outfits made and modelled by the students from recycled materials made this a most memorable part of the eco event.
